Country dating romance

The Manor House.

Having young children, dining out somewhere special is not usually high on our agenda. Last week an occasion arose that encouraged me to organised a baby sitter, dress up and step out on the town.  The Manor House was the destination chosen. Being a bit of a foodie and along with my husband both Chefs in our previous life time, we find that we a a bit critical on food. (We don’t mean to be it just happens)

Well there was nothing to be critical of. It was by far the best meal out in Albury I had ever experienced. I chose the Duck. It fell of the bone, the accompaniments we divine and it looks beautiful. (I wish I took a photo) My Hubby Brad had the Whisky Drunken Pork. It looked and smelled amazing, and of course I had to sample it as well, yes it too was succulent and fell apart when he slid his knife through.

So if you are passing through Albury and need accommodation you will be more than impressed or if you are a local and just looking for somewhere to that will impress your date you will be looked after by their friendly and professional staff and blown away by their talented chefs.
